Cameron made it just like the directions said....which called for eggs, milk, oil or butter.
We used coconut milk (SoDelicious brand), coconut oil & it was so delicious. next time we will have to try it w/ jalapenos. It kind of tasted like like a cross between a biscuit & cornbread. And it stayed moist the next day....as you may know G/F products usually dry out quickly. Yummy!
I think it is very important teach my boys how to cook & to have fun w/ it. Especially for Cameron....I want him to be able to cook for himself so that he will always be healthy.
ReplyDeleteI made the same cornbread (Bob's Red Mill), with coconut milk, too. My favorite way to eat the leftovers is to cut a slice open, put both slices in the toaster, then spread with butter and drizzle with maple syrup or molasses. Mmmm-Mmm!
