Italian Sausage pasta sauce

2 T. olive oil (more if needed)
6 Italian sausage links (Johnsonville is gluten free)
1 cup chopped onion
1 whole grn bell pepper
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 can tomatoe paste
1 cup white wine
couple cloves of minced garlic
1 T brown sugar
3/4 T each chopped dried rosemary, basil, & marjoram
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

* in a skillet add olive oil & brown sausage (don't cook through), & saute' onion & bellpepper, add white wine, cook 5 mins
*in crockpot add all other ingrediants,
 *transfer sausage, onions & bell pepper to crockpot
*cover & cook 4-5 hrs (till meat is cooked through)
*before serving, cut sausage into slanted pieces, serve over fav. GF pasta
